Refund & Cancellation Policy

Learn about our policies for e-book orders, downloads, and technical claims.

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. General Digital Products Rule

Because e-books are digital items made available for download instantly after payment, we generally cannot offer refunds once the files have been downloaded or registered to your personal library account. This is standard practice in the digital media industry.

2. Technical Exceptions Allowed

We care about your developer reading guides. We will approve refunds on a case-by-case basis under the following technical criteria:

  • The EPUB, PDF, or MOBI file is corrupted or fails to render on standard devices (documentation requested).
  • You purchased the same item multiple times due to a transaction gateway duplicate charge error.
  • A pricing mismatch occurred where you were billed more than the checkout catalog quote.

3. How to Open a Claim Case

To request an exception, please open a case query ticket in our Support Center within 14 days of date of order. Please include your order code references (e.g. ORD-001) and snapshots of rendering conflicts if applicable.
